At 5:20 p.m., the National Weather Service said a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Lanham-Seabrook, or near Bowie, moving southeast at 25 mph.

At 5:44 p.m., the National Weather Service said a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Londontowne, or near Bowie, moving southeast at 25 mph.

The most dangerous damage to roofs, siding, and windows may occur. Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed completely. Tree damage is likely.

According to location viewers, a possible big tornado touched down in Bowie around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, it is very near the intersection of Bradford and Buckingham.
